Why Join MPW
The Mornington Peninsula Weddings Group is a not-for-profit Association dedicated to our core mission which is to help encourage and develop relationships within the Mornington Peninsula Wedding Industry. Our aim is to bring like-minded professionals together to share, support and grow.
We achieve this through industry events and promoting the Mornington Peninsula as a wedding destination. A major part of being a member of The Mornington Peninsula Wedding Group is networking. All members are required to attend a minimum of 2 free networking events a year. These are fantastic days or evenings where members come together and share information about their business or we have industry experts to give presentations.
A printed directory listing and an online listing are included with the membership fee.
Our annual wedding expo is for members of The Mornington Peninsula Wedding Group only and relies on volunteers within the group to run. The expo is currently included with your membership fee (a minimal fee may be introduced to exhibit in the future).
The Mornington Peninsula Wedding Group is promoted at Expos, by members, through social media and through our supporters.
A maximum of 10 members per category applies (excluding wedding venues) and a waiting list is available for categories that are full.

As a member of the The Mornington Peninsula Wedding Group your business must be located within the boundaries of the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council and be of a high professional standard.

- CAKE DECORATORS (registered kitchen on the Mornington Peninsula)

- VENUES
- MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT
- EVENT HIRE AND STYLING
- FLORISTS
- HAIR, MAKE UP AND BEAUTY (30+ weddings)
- PHOTOGRAPHY (30+ weddings)
- VIDEOGRAPHY (30+ weddings)
- STATIONERY AND INVITATIONS
- WEDDING CARS AND TRANSPORTATION
- WEDDING PLANNERS (30+ weddings)
- OTHER WEDDING SERVICES
To assist in our aim of promoting weddings on the Mornington Peninsula you must have a professional and up to date website with weddings in the marketing and a facebook business page or instagram account.
MEMBERSHIP COSTS:
$100 nomination fee (one time only once your application is approved)
$295 annual subscription

Once we receive your membership application we will check availability in your selected category and consider your business at our quarterly membership intake meeting…then we will be in touch!
We have a membership intake meeting approx every 3 months. The committee is a group of volunteer members so please be patient with us during this application process.
